Myrle was originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended the University of Winnipeg prior to her exodus to beautiful British Columbia.
Myrle commenced Law School at UBC in 1980. She had the dubious fortune of being immediately in front of Julian Porritt in the line up for registration at the first day of Law School. That "fortuitous" circumstance, combined with Myrle's connection with Don Baron, led to the formation of Veritas Law some 23 years later.
After Law School Myrle joined a medium-sized downtown Vancouver law firm. She practiced Real Estate and Wills and Estates. In due course, she moved up in the firm ranks and ended up as Managing Partner of the firm.
In 1994 Myrle decided to shift her practice to West Vancouver and focused her practice to Wills and Estates. Shortly thereafter Don Baron and Julian Porritt joined her. They formed Veritas Law in 2003 and have continued to practiced together until the present.
Myrle practiced extensively in Wills and Estates for over 20 years. There is little in the area of Wills and Estates that she is not fully conversant on. She has substantially retired from her day-to-day practice now, but the lawyers at Veritas Law can still rely upon her experience and knowledge.
Myrle is a long time North Share resident. Her passions are cooking, travelling and lawn bowling. She speaks Spanish in addition to her native tongue, English.
